Your birthday is 16/12.
Belated happy birthday to you, Cat!
You came to us and generously offered your support as a non-paid volunteer. You told me that you wanted to support a local center for disabled community during your time in Hanoi. Your study from Columbia University covered disability rights.
Indeed, you had provided tremendous support for the translating works and English versions on our new sites.
You was way down to earth, and got along well with the trainees and staffs there (Just that you was vegan and you didn’t have that much choices with our lunch selection!)
We kept in touch after you finished the volunteership. I saw your updates sometimes with the new people you met, the new locations you went to.
Happy for you, the smiley girl. And it is the way I think of you: a tall, sweet and cheerful girl.
Most people just don’t know, or are naive about things. They neglect facts, or just forget these little tiny thing and moments. Some people like you gave all the heart and sweat into the works and actions. You are truly the unsung hero.
Your works are just still there – I can feel it, and see it.
Rest in Peace, Cat.
